We're big admirers of The Venue Report for the way they are always bringing out-of-the-ordinary ideas for bucket-list travel experiences and unique event ideas and inspiration to us. Over the years, we've done our part to add to their hashtag #GetOutAndGather whenever our goals have aligned (turns out, it's almost every single time!)

That's why we were beyond thrilled that The Venue Report noticed us back and decided to feature our fourth annual dinner in the creek (Full Circle Meal) to highlight our stories of collaboration and share our industry-insider perspective on creating events with meaning.

Check out a few of the photos below, along with a little preview of their article — and then check out the whole thing on Venue Report!

Ask anyone who’s ever thrown a big party what it takes to pull off something extraordinary, and they’re likely to acknowledge that it really does take a village. In the case of this party, which draws style inspiration from kaleidoscopes, Tiki culture, and Rorschach inkblots (amongst other wild influences, described below), the village worked together to fuel each other’s creativity and design a gorgeous creekside dinner.

Host Alisa Tongg of Bacon & Lox Society recently caught us up on all the efforts that went into creating such an event. And in true “it takes a village” fashion, each of the brilliantly creative vendors are weighing in how they found their inspiration, what their contributions were, and how they hope to make a ripple.
