I first met Stacey and Laura when we were designing their surprise wedding in 2015. Stacey told all their friends that she was planning a surprise 50th birthday for Laura, but the surprise was on all of them when I made the big reveal that their surprise party was really a surprise wedding!

Leading up to the big celebration, I learned that Stacey is a real master at whipping up tasty seasonal cocktails, so when she offered to bring a batch of her pomegranate margaritas to our recent Holiday Wreath-Making Workshop and Party, we accepted before she could even finish the question.

Stacey has generously shared the recipe with us, so we’re passing it along to you!

Cheers!

Pomegranate Margaritas

The recipe is per serving so we just multiply it (by a lot) to make the jug o’ beverage!

  • 4 oz (1/2 cup) 100% unsweetened pomegranate juice
  • 1 oz (2 tablespoons) freshly squeezed lime juice from one (1) lim
  • 1 1/2 oz (3 tablespoons or 1 shot) Tequila
  • 1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) orange liqueur, such as Grand Marnier or Cointreau

After we made the recipe above, we added some of this amazing concoction you can buy at the liquor store. The batch we made was about %85 of the above  and about %15 this stuff.

I don’t know that you HAVE TO add the bottle stuff or not, but we did.

And just a note, this 1800 stuff is amazing. Usually the pre-made things aren’t very tasty but this one definitely is, even just on its own I mean. And they make a raspberry one that is AMAZING.

Enjoy, and remember, please drink responsibly!
