Established in 2009, the Bacon & Lox Society is dedicated to the concept of the shared table and generosity of spirit through artful gatherings and intentional celebrations. We believe the magic lies in our collective contributions, which is why each gathering is an open invitation to “bring something to share.”
We’re a community of makers who take pleasure in everyday artistry and seek to celebrate the creative gifts of others. We love experiencing life through the lens of gratitude. Led by Celebrant Alisa Tongg, the Bacon & Lox Society comes together to celebrate the best of all cultures and the celebration of new and meaningful traditions.
Community is at the heart of BLS and we strive to bring that spirit with us to every experience we plan and host — be that at our private ceremony space, Promise Ridge, or your private event!

Alisa Tongg is a Life-Cycle Celebrant trained in the art of ceremony and believes that rituals are the umami of life. Alisa was raised in a small cowboy town in upcountry Maui, and is a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation. She is a founding board member of her local chapter of Slow Food Pocono Mountains and loves travel and throwing dinner parties.
After a year of masking, distancing, apprehensive planning, and learning many different ways to exist in a world with COVID19, event planners, celebration creators, communities, gatherers, and families of all shapes and sizes have done something amazing: we’ve adapted.
